AUNT SARAH TYSON was a black mystic that lived in Waxahachie, Texas, on Flat Street, the black section of the city. She made her transition in June of 1928.
It is said the residents of Waxahachie believed Tyson possessed the powers of a diviner; and they sought her for counseling on personal matters and her views on the mysteries of life.
It seems Aunt Sarah Tyson had an endearing personality along with the gift of attracting people to her sphere. If the mystic was walking down the street, she would not go unnoticed. Her presence was that profound. Perhaps it was due to Tyson's radiant aura or hefty hourglass figure.
Information about Aunt Sarah Tyson's childhood, teenage years, and adult years is unknown. In addition to the circumstances that led her to live the life of a mystic.
Possibly Sarah Tyson may have been born on August 12, 1863, in North Carolina, re Find a Grave website.
